The Business Coaching Certificate Program
The program was founded in 2002 by Brian and Lou Raye Nichol who have since retired. Sackeena Gordon-Jones, Ph.D., MCC has been leading the program for the past 10 years, and has been on faculty for the past 13 years. She leads a team of seasoned coaches who bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to participants as visiting faculty and mentor coaches.

Sackeena Gordon-Jones, Ph.D., MCCSackeena Gordon-Jones has been coaching professionally since 2003 and has extensive experience on the front lines of global and change leadership. Formerly head of Global Learning and Development, she led a major cultural and organizational change creating best practices in leadership development, strategic planning and performance management. As a coach, Sackeena brings strategic perspective, a focus on results, and firsthand knowledge of what it is like to lead and deliver significant organizational change. Sackeena has worked with leaders in private and public sectors, at all levels to enhance their leadership presence, hone communication and listening skills, improve interpersonal relationships, manage change, create and cultivate successful teams and achieve personal and professional life harmony. She is a founding member and president of Transformation Edge; a coaching and consulting practice specializing in leadership and organization coaching and coach training. She earned her coach certifications from Duke University and CTI.
Sackeena is known for her creatively designed Leadership Development and Coaching Programs and has customized and delivered highly regarded programs for numerous client groups. She also developed and leads Mentor Coaching Group Programs for coaches pursuing ICF credentials. Earlier in her career she served as consultant and strategic advisor for both public and private sector organizations. She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), and the current co-leader of the ICF Southeast Regional Advisory Council. Sackeena is also past-president of the ICF Raleigh chapter and holds the ICF credential of Professional Certified Coach (PCC). Sackeena's work with ICF led the chapter to be the recipients of the "breaking barriers" and "gift of coaching" awards. She received the 2013 Inspired Leadership ‘Flame Award’ from ICF-RAC. |
